1 Robert, I would like to start this interview by telling me something about yourself.
My name is Robert Stan, I am 24 years old, I was born in Romania but I live in Spain since I was 9 years old, because this country has offered much more to my parents. First years were difficult, my adapting was not so easy. Practically more than half of my life I have lived here where I have graduated school and where I started Law University.
In the same time I got my personal trainer diploma, private security diploma among many others. Nowadays I work in the area of Private Security and Fitness area.
I started practicing fitness when I was 15. Everything started as a challenge from my friends from that period of time, but I took that challenge very personal and after four years I attended my first bodybuilding contests where I took first place at juniors UIBBN and to another European contest, Musclemania Europe.
Since then I decided that I should change my shape and to be fit. The next contests I have in mind are Arnold Classic Europe and Olympia Amateur
2. In that concerning your present lifestyle, are you an active person?
I consider myself a very active person because my lifestyle is of such a manner. I do not have much free tim , so I must dedicate that time to things that really matter. I think that time is the most important thing and that each second must be lived at its full.
3. You are in a great shape, can you tell us how do you keep yourself fit and give us some of your secrets.
The secret to be in a great shape has two components: ambition and self discipline. Ambition gives you the motivation of not giving up things even there are some adversities of life or any other passing by facts.
Discipline for me means respect and to be constant in sport, there is no I cannot, I do not want to, or not now, these are just excuses.
4. What advices can you give to those who admire you and want to follow on your footsteps?
I wish, when I have started practicing this sport, to have had somebody by my side, to guide me the right way because I consider that in the beginning we are all excited and many times we can make mistakes.
From my personal experience, I can say to all that want to start this sport the fact that it is not an easy way to live. You have to admit that it is more than a sport, it is a lifestyle, there is 24 from 24 hours, starting with the diet and continuing with the training.
Another advice I would like to give is that it is not easy to give up on this sport because the results come in time, it is not so easy how some would think it is, but once achieved, I can assure you that they will motivate you more and more. If you believe in yourself and in your dream, it is enough. Work daily for your dream and success will come, I have no doubt.
5. Which are your future plans?
In the future I want to focus more on mentality and physic and to become better in everything I do, both professionally and as a person. In the same time, I would like to dedicate more and more to this sport and to have the possibility to inspire and motivate many people, to encourage them to have a healthier lifestyle, because nothing is prettier in life than to support somebody in achieving his dream. There is no better thing than to have your passion as a job.
6. Which social activities or hobbies do you have?
Other big passions that I have are dancing, cinematography and literature. In the last few years I was contestant in several shows, among them Romania Got Talent and Spain Got Talent. I also directed a short movie in 2015, which made me follow the path into cinematography. Among other awards, in 2017, I took the First prize for the best dancer from Diaspora in Spain, I also took several time the first prize in several literature contests for poetry. My life motto is “Mens Sana in Corpore Sano”.
