"New York Fashion Week Powered by Art Hearts Fashion has always been about pushing boundaries and celebrating global creativity," said Erik Rosete, President of Art Hearts Fashion. "This season, we are proud to bring the energy of our international showcases in Ecuador and Guatemala back to NYC, spotlight over 40 bold designers, and showcase the AnaOno runway show carried by Victoria’s Secret. From emerging talent to industry icons, our mission remains the same: to create an inclusive, dynamic platform where fashion tells powerful stories and inspires change."
Among the highlights is Cancer Culture x AnaOno’s groundbreaking runway presentation, BODY OF RESISTANCE, which will transform the historic Angel Orensanz Foundation into a powerful stage for storytelling and unapologetic beauty. Far more than a fashion show, this patient-led runway experience is a visceral protest to demand more research funding. Models living with MBC, early stage disease, and “previvors” walk the runway in solidarity, bridging the gaps among disease types. Wearing lingerie-inspired looks, bearing scars, flat chests, port lines, grief, joy, and unflinching honesty, the patients ALL have a story to tell.
Runway shows will run September 11–14, 2025, at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, followed by a special evening event with Montecristi NYC on Monday, September 15, 2025. This private haute couture fundraising gala, held from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, will benefit the preservation of ancestral “Cosmic Art” and its recognition as Heritage of Humanity. The evening will include a holistic medicine lecture by 7 Nations Lakota Chief Timothy Swallow, a curated fine art and silent auction, a Medicine Hat showcase, and an intimate couture runway presentation by Montecristi NYC & Sienna Li, complemented by a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception and Getty Images coverage.
